Debbie Watts, known as “Nurse Debbie” by many campers, started volunteering as the camp nurse in 1995, and has been able to continue for a couple of weeks almost every summer since then. Debbie and Brian have 7 daughters, all of whom came to summer camp at LLBC, and a couple have served on SST. Their grandkids now come and enjoy it just as much.

Debbie started working in Accounts Payable in January of 2024, which includes paying the bills, running payroll and keeping track of expenses for camp. She love the days where she can drive up to camp and see her camp family and to be able to see the camp full of campers in the summer.
Deb’s favorite part of LLBC is the how the staff, whether full time Missionary Staff, Residents, Interns or SST, all come together as a family and support each other with prayer and helping out with whatever needs doing. They all approach their jobs with a heart for serving the Lord and it shows.
